Marshall Plan
The Marshall Plan was first outlined in the Truman Doctrine by President Truman. The Marshall Plan was an amount of twenty billion dollars that was to be distributed out among European countries to help them rebuild and recover from the second world war. The largest, most glaring, flaw in this plan was that none of that money went to Russia whom arguably had the most to rebuild and recover from. The amount of casualties and damage that had been dealt to Russia left the country struggling. The fact that almost every other country in Europe that sustained damage got financial aid from the United States, just poked the bear and pissed off the Russians.
